Snow Falling on Cedars is a good movie to compare. Actually, the author of the book (Snow Falling on Cedars) had To Kill a Mockingbird in mind when he wrote the book.
Both are about racism in a small town and involve a trial. In SFoC the trial is of a Japanese man who’s accused of murder. In TKaM, the trial is of a black man. Both are wrongly accused.
