i have an essay (rough draft) dew tomorrow and it was assigned yesterday! The story it is on is Lord of the Flies by William Golding. I have to show what you believe William Golding is saying about the theme of “the breakdown of civilization” in his book, Lord of the Flies. To support it i need quotes and to the theme by showing how the symbol at the beginning, middle, and end of the text clarify your points about theme.

I was at the movies a few months ago, and saw a really cool preview where there was some sort of civilization living on a shape ship. I believe everyone goes into hibernation chambers, and when they wake up, almost everyone is missing and it has something to do with some sort of creatures overrunning them. Do you recognize this description and know what the title of this movie is?

Technology advances, but at a price. Isn’t it time for people to realize there is no longer any place to expand to? And don’t say other worlds. Even if possible, we would overwhelm resources there. Aren’t we already straining the Earth’s processes? What about population attrition?
